This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Monday, June 1, 2026 - You probably donβt really know this about me π€£π so let me tell youβ¦ I absolutely love Thai food ππΆοΈβ€οΈ Iβve eaten at many Thai restaurants over the years, and while Iβve found a few favorites around Orange County, Long Beach Thai Restaurant was truly an unexpected treasure find β¨ Tucked away in a little strip mall on E Anaheim Blvd., this cozy and super clean spot completely surprised us π We ordered the Rad Nah and asked for the flat rice noodles to be extra charred, just the way I love them ππ₯ Along with that, we had shrimp Tom Kha Koong, spicy watercress chicken with chili oil, fried spring rolls, and Thai iced coffee π₯’βπΆοΈ Everything was delicious, comforting, flavorful, and one of those meals where you keep saying, βjust one more biteβ π€£π©π What made the experience even better was Kunlaya, aka Ein, the owner/server πΉ She was warm, gracious, friendly, and so fun to chat with β never missing a beat π You all know how I amβ¦ food somehow always tastes even better when the people serving it are kind-hearted, welcoming, and top notch β€οΈ Of course, this is just based on my own experience and personal tasteβ¦ and Iβll admit, Iβm pretty particular when it comes to

How is this dish $20 before fees and tip?? Literally all rice and a few pieces of meat. Absolutely disgusting. A complete rip off. Food quality was really low. The pork was so dry like it was deep fried and sitting under a warmer all day

Got the thai boat noodle and the crabmeat/shrimp egg rolls. The thai boat was a little too salty for my liking but adding lime helped a lot. I also have never been a big fan of thai boat because of its heaviness compared Cambodian or Vietnamese rice noodle soups, so take my review with a grain of salt. My cousins love the thai boat here though so try it out. The egg rolls were very good though, wish it had some veggies in it but itβs fine the way it is too.

A bit of a mix, Calamari was disappointing, and papaya salad not very spicy but green curry very good and several other dishes were excellent.

An amazing Thai restaurant. Expansive menu with all of the things you'd expect. All the classic Thai items and some others. Great drink selection. I really enjoyed my Thai Iced Coffee. Fast friendly service. No problem splitting checks. This restaurant was quite busy when we arrived on a Sunday but we didn't have to wait long for anything. I noticed it was mostly asian people which is always a good sign at an asian restaurant. This is not a place I would have just stopped in to, the location does not stand out. The area is not particularly inviting but the reviews are quite clear this is a great place. If you are in the area, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
